The Hidden Flower

This is tiles made of Epoxy and UV glue, bleached leaves and flowers. The inspiration comes from daily flowers I see. They grow in unexpected places, small, but blooming hard, like glitter that enriches our ordinary life. However, these objects are usually ignored, same goes to tiles underfoot. My targeted group is everyone who is emotionally numbing due to life pressure because I hope they pay more attention to objects of satisfaction around them, not to forget to enjoy them. The chosen collection is also tiles, but their patterns are greenhouse flowers. I have redefined this chosen collection’s from merely a decoration into a work that catalyses emotion.
